OPS 2026 brings together thought leaders
on the topic of disruption

The Online Print Summit 2026 will focus on disruption on 12 and 13 March. Four new speakers will address the key question of how online printing is changing and how this development can be actively shaped.

Ruppert Bodmeier, founder of the AI platform ‘Disrooptive.com’, has been addressing the question of how companies can master digital innovation and AI for years. Bodmeier sees AI as an orchestra of intelligent systems, and believes that the real competitive advantage arises where customers make decisions. For online printers, this does not mean ‘Which AI tool do we use?’, but rather ‘How do we orchestrate data, models and processes into an experience?’

Mass customisation turns standard products into individual, personal items. Philipp Mühlbauer, founder and co-CEO of what is now The Customisation Group, offers a glimpse behind the scenes and shows how personalised products can become a scalable business. Among other things, the focus is on the question of how millions of customised products can be translated into robust processes, from B2C and B2B shops to API-based models that integrate into other platforms as ‘customisation as a service’.

French online print expert Ludovic Martin talks about ‘Quest for tangible’, a trend in which people are increasingly looking for physical touchpoints that build trust. Print is evolving from a by-product to a strategic pillar, embedded in customer journeys.

Michał Tracz, CEO of Print Logistics in Poland, has built a smart factory for the on-demand production of clothing, textiles and home décor products and is now one of the big players in the market, with production facilities in Poland, the UK and the US. In his presentation ‘POD Transformation’, Michał Tracz talks about which fulfilment structures and social commerce connections play a role in the textile POD business.

‘We are at a point where online printing needs to be not just optimised, but rethought in many areas. The Online Print Summit 2026 is therefore bringing people onto the stage who are providing the impetus to do just that,’ says Bernd Zipper, founder of zipcon consulting.

‘Given the disruptive power of AI developments in recent years, “business as usual” is no longer an option. At the Online Print Summit 2026, we won’t be talking about whether AI, platforms and creator ecosystems are changing the rules of the game, but how quickly,’ adds Jens Meyer, Managing Director of Verband Druck und Medien Beratung GmbH.
