Roland DG at Ceramitec 2026 PB Series
3D powder printing solutions

Roland DG will be exhibiting at Ceramitec 2026, which will take place from 24 to 26 March at the Munich Exhibition Centre. Interested visitors can meet the Roland DG team in Hall 6, Stand A130, where Roland DG will be presenting its PB series powder 3D printing solutions, which have been developed for demanding applications in ceramic modelling and production.

Ceramitec is considered the leading international platform for the ceramics industry, bringing together manufacturers, research institutions and technology experts working on material innovations, process optimisation and efficient production.

The PB series powder 3D printers enable the production of highly detailed ceramic components without the need for traditional moulds or tools. In the binder jetting process, a liquid binder is applied precisely to fine layers of ceramic powder, bonding the material layer by layer to form three-dimensional structures. This makes it possible to create complex geometries that are difficult or impossible to achieve using conventional moulding or milling processes. Brightorb, a fine-grained ceramic powder developed for optimum printing performance, ensures high surface quality. With less than one per cent shrinkage during firing, Brightorb can achieve high dimensional stability, according to the manufacturer. With a layer thickness of 0.1 mm, the PB series enables high detail resolution and smooth surfaces.

‘Additive manufacturing is continuously expanding the possibilities of ceramic production – especially where geometric complexity and design freedom are required,’ explains Peter Verryt, Director New Business Office at Roland DG Europe. ‘At Ceramitec, we look forward to talking to experts and showing how the PB series increases production flexibility while ensuring process control and material performance.’
