Kornit Digital Ltd., a global pioneer in sustainable, on-demand digital fashion and textile production, has unveiled the Atlas MATRIX system at Konnections 2026 in Hollywood.
According to Kornit, Atlas MATRIX is the first unified digital production system designed for on-demand manufacturing with complete flexibility for cotton, polyester and blended fabrics, without compromising on quality, durability or efficiency. At its heart lies Kornit’s proprietary Karbon Shield technology, a protective layer that prevents colour migration on challenging, deep-dyed and sublimated polyester fabrics.
Karbon Shield enables consistent, vibrant and long-lasting results in a single-step process, without complex set-up procedures or manual intervention. The system supports direct printing with Karbon Shield and transfer onto film with Karbon Transfer, ensuring complete consistency between decoration processes. Atlas MATRIX also offers expanded capabilities with two different configurations: a neon configuration for sports and performance applications, and a red-green configuration for fashion and branded applications.
“For years, the industry has been held back by compromises, but that is finally changing,” said Ronen Samuel, Chief Executive Officer of Kornit Digital. “Although screen printing delivers excellent results on polyester, it requires long set-up times, multiple process steps and additional costs to control dye migration and ensure consistency. Digital solutions, including earlier generations such as Atlas MAX POLY, have significantly expanded the boundaries of what is possible, but performance on polyester depended on the fabric type, process optimisation and the complexity of operations.”
Atlas MATRIX will be available for delivery from early May, including upgrade packages for existing systems in the Atlas family.
