The Truepress JET 560HDX has been awarded the PrUA Digital Press System Certification – Inkjet based on the technical standards of the Idealliance division of PrUA, an authority in colour management which also awards G7+ certification. It rigorously assesses the accuracy of colour reproduction and the output stability of inkjet systems.
The assessment for the Digital Press System Certification – Inkjet was conducted based on the CRPC6 standard, an international reference standard for commercial printing on coated paper, which specifies a wider colour gamut and stricter tolerances for colour differences. Achieving CRPC6 certification demonstrates that a digital inkjet press can deliver colour reproduction and gradation stability comparable to that of conventional commercial offset printing. During testing, the Truepress JET 560HDX achieved outstanding results with its newly introduced inkjet printheads featuring ink circulation and high-quality contact image sensors (CIS).
The Truepress JET 560HDX is the third system in SCREEN’s digital printing equipment product line to receive the PrUA Digital Press System certification – Inkjet, surpassing the certification standards set by its predecessor, the Truepress JET 520HD+ from 2023. The inkjet press supports a wider media format of up to 560 mm and incorporates newly developed drying and transfer mechanisms to maximise machine uptime and boost productivity. The newly developed high-density Truepress SC2 inks also enable direct printing on offset papers without prior surface treatment, whilst delivering vivid image reproduction and high-resolution output of fine lines and text. According to Screen, these technological innovations deliver high-resolution imaging, outstanding productivity and ease of operation, setting a new benchmark in commercial printing equipment.
