Kodak Sustainability Report:
Continuous Progress

The Eastman Kodak Company has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, which documents progress on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities and underscores Kodak’s commitment to responsible innovation, efficiency, and value creation.

Kodak’s sustainability strategy is built upon the pillars of “One Kodak,” “One Planet,” and “One People.” Key achievements include significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and water withdrawal, a high waste diversion rate, and investments in the circular economy—such as solvent recovery and process-free printing technologies.

Furthermore, Kodak develops sustainable printing solutions, including process-free KODAK SONORA plates, KODAK PROSPER digital printing technology, water-based inks, and the KODAK PRINERGY workflow. Through these offerings, Kodak helps reduce waste, increase efficiency, and foster more sustainable production. The report highlights the growth of Kodak’s Advanced Materials business segments. Global demand for KODAK motion picture film continues to rise, supported by investments in film technology innovation and manufacturing capacity—advancements that improve both product performance and environmental footprint. In 2025, Kodak introduced an Anti-Halation Undercoat (AHU) structure for KODAK VISION3 color negative films, which reduces water, chemical, and energy consumption during film processing while maintaining high image quality.

“Sustainability is an integral part of how Kodak drives innovation, operates, and supports its customers,” said Jim Continenza, Executive Chairman and CEO of Kodak. “Our 2025 report reflects the progress we are making, while also highlighting that there is more work to be done as we continue to reduce our environmental impact and strengthen our business for the future.”
