The European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) has published a call for papers for the 5th edition of the Industrial Print Integration (IPI) conference, which will take place on 24–25 November 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Düsseldorf.

IPI is considered Europe’s leading event for industrial and functional printing, bringing together suppliers, OEMs, integrators and R&D executives to explore advances in digital inkjet printing, spray coating, aerosol, EHD jet, capillary printing and other coating technologies.

IPI 2026 invites submissions on topics such as high-resolution precision printing, AI-enabled automation and robotics, ink and process innovations, energy-efficient curing, mass customisation and personalisation, and circular economy and waste reduction. The areas of application include printed electronics, packaging, interior design for homes and vehicles, biomedicine and pharmaceuticals, textiles and technical textiles, and additive manufacturing. Near-shoring, on-demand production and regulatory compliance will also be addressed. Presentations should be informative, educational and non-commercial, focusing on the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of cooperation.

Please submit the title and an abstract (approx. 150 words), a profile photo of the speaker and a biography (approx. 50 words). Photos of the technology/application for promotional purposes are optional. The submission deadline is 31 May 2026. Please send your submissions by email to mb@esma.com.

“Industrial and functional liquid separation is evolving rapidly, driven by the need for sustainability, flexibility and innovation. At IPI 2026, we want to highlight the technologies and strategies that will shape the future – from microfactories with a minimal carbon footprint to smart packaging and regulatory-compliant solutions. This is where the industry comes together to drive projects forward and build lasting partnerships,” said Peter Buttiens, CEO of ESMA.
