IPI 2025:
The Future of Industrial Printing

Organised by ESMA, the Industrial Print Integration (IPI) Conference 2025 brings together leading minds from the field of functional and industrial printing. The IPI will take place from 12 to 13 November 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Düsseldorf-Neuss and will feature 60 presentations, including 4 keynotes, in three specialised subject areas, as well as an international exhibition and a lively networking programme.

Free training on waveforms

11 November 2025, 4 to 7 p.m.

IPI 2025 will begin a day early with a training session on waveform optimisation, which is open to all registered participants. Led by Dr Mark Bale (DoDxAct), an independent expert in inkjet printing, the workshop will cover the basics and practice of waveform development for inkjet printing. Participants will learn the basics of printhead geometries and enjoy live demonstrations at Dropwatcher stations with industry experts.

Productivity and longevity

From Fujifilm Dimatix to Konica Minolta, Ricoh, RISO and Seiko Instruments, the printhead track will cover the technologies that determine uptime and performance in inkjet printing. Insights into life cycle costs, long-throw jetting, dual-colour architectures and new reliability test data from research institutes will be presented.

High-viscosity jetting

Quantica, Fraunhofer IPA and Scrona demonstrate how printing systems can process materials with a viscosity of up to 250 mPas, closing the gap between inkjet and screen printing.

New technologies

Innovative developments from Hummink, Profactor, Fraunhofer IAP and IamFluidics show how inkjet printing is merging with nanotechnology, optics and healthcare.

Printed electronics & OEM perspectives

The path of printed electronics into production is highlighted with contributions from SPGPrints, MicroCraft and C-marx. The presentations deal with solder masks, battery printing, flexible printed circuit boards, structural electronics and a universal inkjet platform.

ESMA recommends that participants bring a colleague and take advantage of the extensive networking opportunities. First-time participants who register via the official conference website receive a 50% discount.

ESMA

ESMA has been active in the industrial printing sector since 1990 and has developed from a European association for screen and digital printing manufacturers into an organisation representing industrial, functional and speciality printing. Over the years, ESMA has developed the concept of the Knowledge Hub, which today provides cross-technology expertise to nearly 70 European manufacturer members and technology partners.
