New standard for print production – Durst Group integrates GMG colour management

Durst Group, a leading manufacturer of digital printing and production technologies, announces the integration of GMG spectral colour management technology into its proprietary workflow and the Open Software Initiative’s open Smart Factory portfolio. Two new flatbed printers from swissQprint

swissQprint is launching two new flatbed models, tailored to users with high quality requirements and small to medium production volumes. Both models, Topi 5 and Oryx 5, complete the Generation 5 launched in January 2025.

The models of different sizes are available immediately: Topi 5 is a 3.2×2 metre flatbed printer that can produce up to 126 sqm/h. Oryx 5 is the 2.5 m wide counterpart with a maximum output of 114 square metres per hour. According to the manufacturer, both allow maximum variety and are highly precise thanks to a roller option. ‘With the new, synchronised overall range, we have a tailor-made solution for every size of business, with Topi and Oryx aimed at users with high quality standards and small to medium print volumes,’ explains Carmen Eicher, Head of Sales and Marketing at swissQprint.
