Sun Chemical, a leader in printed circuit board (PCB) materials, will present its new SVHC-free Imagecure solder mask solution at Productronica in Munich from 18 to 21 November at stand 557 in hall B3. The product range has been developed to make it easier for PCB manufacturers to comply with global environmental regulations.
The product range is free of substances of very high concern (SVHC) as defined by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) under the REACH regulation and offers manufacturers a safer and more sustainable solution.
Among other things, the SVHC-free solder mask offers full REACH and RoHS compliance,
high performance in terms of adhesion, heat resistance and chemical resistance, according to the manufacturer, as well as flexible application methods for screen printing, spraying and curtain coating in multiple colours. It is also suitable for global manufacturers, OEMs and CEMs looking for REACH-compliant solutions in Europe, Asia and North America.
In addition to the new SVHC-free product range, Sun Chemical is also introducing its portfolio of conventional PCB materials, including solder masks, legend inks, conductive inks
and etch and plating resists for PCB manufacturing.
