Roland DG, a leading global provider of digital printing solutions, has announced the launch of EUV-H, an industrial-grade UV curable ink designed for durability and resilience in industrial and commercial applications.
EUV-H has been developed for decorative and functional printing applications and offers high resistance to solvents and abrasion. The ink is compatible with substrates such as plastic, glass and metal, enabling decoration on a wide range of materials. A newly developed primer ink enhances adhesion and expands the range of materials that can be decorated. This allows high-quality results to be produced for applications ranging from components and electronics to packaging and promotional items.
Production capabilities
The EUV-H can support companies looking to enter niche markets and produce more durable products. As part of the Roland DG ecosystem, the EUV-H is compatible with existing MO-series printers and future ‘industrial printing’ solutions, including the RC-300 cylinder printer and the IO-300 flatbed printer.
The ink reduces the characteristic odour associated with UV printing. According to the manufacturer, substances subject to strict regulatory controls have been avoided, and the ink contains no nickel, no substances of very high concern (SVHCs) and no CMR substances.
“With the new EUV-H ink, we are enabling our customers to take advanced and customised production even further,” says Ryugo Nimura, Executive Officer, Global Sales and Marketing Division, Roland DG. “By combining durability with broad material compatibility and a forward-looking ecosystem, EUV-H helps businesses unlock new opportunities, deliver premium applications and grow with confidence in increasingly demanding markets.”
