FESPA has been named “Organising Team of the Year” by the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) as part of the prestigious AEO Excellence Awards. The award recognises FESPA’s contribution to the global events industry and its commitment to organising trade fairs worldwide.
In its application for the award, FESPA demonstrated growth in visitor numbers, exhibitor satisfaction and engagement with its trade fairs across its entire global events portfolio. The events attracted a high level of participation from decision-makers and delivered commercial success for the participating exhibitors.
Beyond organising its global trade fairs, FESPA has reduced its environmental impact and continues to support communities in need. Furthermore, as part of its ‘Profit for Purpose’ programme, FESPA reinvests 100 per cent of its event profits back into the global printing industry via its association network. FESPA has also implemented sustainable measures and, having already been certified to ISO 20121:2012 in 2025, received ISO 20121:2024 certification for sustainable event management this year.
In addition, it runs the FESPA Foundation, which uses surplus printed material generated at FESPA trade fairs to create educational resources for schools and communities in need. Since its establishment in 2025, the FESPA Foundation has supported schools in South Africa and Brazil through the donation of resources, funding and infrastructure improvements. Furthermore, FESPA’s global network of associations organises educational events and conferences for their local communities throughout the year.
Neil Felton, CEO of FESPA, comments: “This award has been made possible thanks to the passion, commitment and perseverance of our global team, who consistently go the extra mile to organise exceptional events for the printing industry and related sectors. What sets FESPA apart is our goal-oriented approach, as everything we do is based on our mission to ‘connect, inspire and support’ our global community.”
