For professionals wishing to expand their technical knowledge of colour, printing processes, materials and standardisation in a practical and flexible way, Fogra is launching a range of continuing professional development courses in autumn 2026. This includes four intensive online courses, 30 courses on the Fogra Web Academy and twelve face-to-face seminars.
The new continuing professional development programme combines the in-depth content of established face-to-face seminars with the flexibility of the Fogra Web Academy. The intensive online courses take place on fixed dates and are delivered in English. This caters for international professionals as well as those travelling from further afield. Four courses are planned for the autumn, including three seminars on colour management and one course on process control in offset printing.
Fogra Web Academy
In parallel, the Fogra Web Academy will commence in September. With over 500 graduates to date, this format has established itself as a practical training resource. Thirty courses offer an insight into the topics of colour, printing, finishing and standardisation. New additions to the programme include topics such as colour transformation of paper containing brighteners, HDR imaging, migration from packaging and 3D surface quality. The content is delivered live and is subsequently available as a recording.
Hands-on classroom-based and in-house courses
For professionals who prefer practical exercises, Fogra continues to offer a comprehensive range of classroom-based courses in Munich-Aschheim, as well as bespoke in-house training programmes. Twelve seminars are planned for the autumn, including colour management, AI for media designers, post-press processing, colour measurement and the fundamentals of printing technology, as well as in-depth courses on offset printing. The face-to-face events offer in-depth knowledge, practical exercises, concrete examples and the opportunity to raise your own questions.
