3D textiles
by Getzner at A+A

From 4 to 7 November 2025, Getzner Textil will be presenting innovative developments in the fields of workwear and protective textiles at A+A 2025 (Hall 16, Stand B48) in Düsseldorf. The focus of the new products on display will be six versatile fabrics that meet different requirements in terms of functionality and safety.

One highlight is the further development of the snow camouflage print on Cordura fabric, which has achieved a high degree of whiteness, something that was previously difficult due to the material’s inherent colour. According to Getzner, the new printing technology enables compliance with strict standards. When high durability and resistance are required, Cordura, a polyamide fibre from Invista S.à.r.l., Wichita, KS/USA, is used.

Getzner is also presenting its patented getzspace technology, which integrates 3D structures such as pockets or reinforcements directly into textile fabrics without additional seams. This enables the creation of high-performance textiles that impress with their low weight and high resistance and open up new possibilities for the design and functionality of modern protective workwear.

This year, A+A will be the stage for Getzner Textil’s new trade fair appearance. Six fabrics will be presented as so-called ‘unicorns’. The unicorn ties in with the company’s long history and regional roots, while also symbolising the uniqueness of the qualities on display. All Unicorns share the same high standards of functionality, comfort and safety – developed on the basis of decades of experience in textile manufacturing and implemented in resource-saving production processes in Europe.
