C!PRINT 2024
the centre of the printing world

The eleventh edition of C!Print took place in Lyon February. Over 15,000 visitors were able to view the latest products from around 250 exhibitors and take part in trend-setting conferences. The positive response demonstrates the strong commitment to this important event for the visual communication and graphics industry in France and Europe.

C!Print brought together manufacturers and distributors of printing presses and media, service providers, software manufacturers, printing press partners and associations. Leading companies from the fields of large format printing, small format labelling and personalisation, signage, poster and backlit communication, finishing, print media, 3D and web-to-print as well as software were represented. Visitors were able to discover a wide variety of new printing equipment and test sustainable materials as well as innovative automation and digitalisation solutions.

As every year, France’s leading trade fair for the graphic arts industry offered a programme full of inspiration and information. Around one hundred speakers shared their expertise. Debates centred on the digital transformation of the graphic arts industry, the ecological transition at the service of innovation, Industry 5.0, AI, new forms of creativity and the new challenges in terms of skills and the attractiveness of professions.

Launched in 2020, C!Wrap, the trade fair’s official dress-up competition, took place with a new creative and technical challenge for the best dress-up teams. During the three days of the fair, six professional teams competed live in the C!Wrap Arena. Their task: to dress up a partition wall, a floor, four changing room seats, a 3D-printed object and half a vehicle in five hours. A show with spectacular designs and staging.

The Plug&Play workshop renewed its creative approach with the Playbround brand, dedicated to the theme of sport. Digital printing on objects, direct-to-film (DTF), heat transfer, embroidery, sublimation, personalisation and 3D modelling. Seven brands of printing equipment for objects and textiles presented their latest solutions. The online personalisation platform, which is operated by Emersya, a partner of the workshop, recorded hundreds of orders a day a week before the event.
