drupa plans to create a new and exciting presentation format with its partner “New C”. The five-day convention “dna (drupa next age) x Imaging” will focus on the great importance of image technologies in the context of print and communication.
Why do printed images have a special relevance? What role will AI play for photography and print products in the future? What quality and sustainability requirements will manufacturers and service providers have to meet? And which innovations around printed images promise future market growth? These and other relevant questions will be illuminated by the convention dna x Imaging, which will take place for the first time during drupa (28 May to 7 June 2024). From 1 to 5 June 2024, international experts will provide business ideas and impulses around image and print in intensive inspiration sessions.
“We see many common technologies and issues as well as overlapping and mutually driving markets between the imaging and print industries. That is why we have developed the new format dna x Imaging with ‘New C’, which will highlight new perspectives as well as concrete business potential for international visitors to drupa,” says Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, Print Technologies Messe Düsseldorf.
Wolfgang Heinen, CEO New C GmbH & Co KG, adds: “Photography and print have always belonged closely together: Newspapers, magazines, illustrated books, packaging and much more are hardly imaginable without printed images. And the respective technologies also show significant parallels. Printing images is what gives their content relevance in the first place. What future potential lies in this will be demonstrated by dna x Imaging.” Media production company New C has decades of experience in the tech, imaging and media industries.
The dna x Imaging convention will take place during drupa on the stage of the dna (drupa next age) forum, which aims to connect innovative technology drivers and established companies with industry newcomers, young talents and start-ups. It is located in the centrally located Hall 7.0 and attendance is included in the drupa admission price. The conference language is English. Accompanying dna x Imaging, exhibitors are invited to present their products and services in this area to visitors.
