The plastics industry is facing challenging tasks in terms of digitalisation and technical transformation. At Fakuma 2024 (15 to 19 October in Friedrichshafen), ESC will be presenting various printing systems that can master these challenges and enhance plastic surfaces for modern product concepts.
ESC offers sophisticated, cost-effective screen, pad and digital printing machines that can functionally coat plastics and give them an elegant, robust finish. Technologies that make it possible to optimise production processes without high investments.
Advanced inkjet technology
Many plastics processors have now also integrated inkjet printing into their process chain. ESC offers various printers, suitable plotters, roll printers or hybrid systems from Mimaki. The Mimaki UJF-7151 plus II desktop printer, for example, is designed for small-format, direct printing (max. print format 710 × 510 mm) with UV inks. It can print on plastics such as polypropylene in high-resolution quality and is suitable for industrial series production.
Another inkjet variant is the single-pass system for high-speed printing from Bergstein Digital. The DIGI series is specially designed for industrial direct printing. The printers achieve print speeds of up to 25 metres per minute and offer an efficient solution for a wide range of industries such as medical, automotive, consumer goods, packaging, electronics and tools. These models can also be flexibly configured to meet individual customer requirements. Equipped with pre-treatment, primers, colours and drying systems, they can be integrated into production processes. The innovative cassette system also enables seamless integration and customisation to specific production requirements.
Flexible ‘all-rounders’ such as the ESC-AT PAB 45 screen printing machine also take centre stage.
A model for flat, round and oval printing that offers maximum precision, especially when coating with conductive media. Or the ESC-COMEC EAZY pad printing machine as the perfect entry-level model for 1- and 2-colour printing with a print format of up to 145 mm diameter. These models are representative of the complex ESC programme, which covers which can cover many print formats and fulfil production requirements. ESC also customises printing systems to meet special requirements.
ESC
ESC was founded in 1949 and more than 70 years of experience in the screen printing sector have allowed the company to grow into a leading supplier. In Bad Salzuflen, one of the largest and most permanent screen printing machine exhibitions in Europe, the latest developments can be viewed on over 5,000 square metres. ESC also supplies equipment for digital printing, pad printing, the filmless production of screen printing stencils, the well-known PERFECTA screen washing and decoating machines and a wide range of second-hand machines.
