Koehler Paper and FUJIFILM are stepping up their collaboration in the field of high-quality printing solutions. To this end, FUJIFILM has tested paper grades from Koehler Paper on its printing presses and produced high-quality print samples.
The focus was on both premium recycled papers and fine papers from Koehler Paper, including the Elfenbeinkarton and Koehler ICEWHITE IQ® grades, as well as the grades under the greenium brand: Koehler Eco® Paper, creative print, creative board and COLORline IQ. The aim was to assess the performance of different paper solutions under real-world conditions. The results confirm the excellent printability and performance of the grades tested. Both the premium recycled and fine papers performed impressively in terms of colour reproduction, surface finish and suitability for further processing. The print samples demonstrate that Koehler Paper offers a portfolio that meets the highest standards of printability and quality.
“The tests confirm that our papers perform reliably even in demanding digital printing applications and deliver high-quality results,” said Marco Lang, Head of the Fine Papers Division at Koehler Paper.
“The combination of our Revoria toner-based digital printing systems and Koehler’s papers ensures stable processes and delivers consistently high print quality. The Revoria Press SC285S and the EC2100S utilise a newly introduced transfer technology to achieve significantly better image quality whilst minimising associated transfer errors. In addition, our customers benefit from significant added value thanks to the special toners for a fifth colour. These special toners (pink, silver, gold, white and varnish), which can be changed quickly and easily, can be printed over the CMYK layer,” adds Marc Salewski, Key Account POD South Direct.
