At Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025 (24 to 27 February, Lucerne, Switzerland), Kodak will present the KODAK PROSPER 7000 Turbo, one of the world’s fastest full-colour inkjet web presses, live on stand P4 in hall 1.
High inkjet speed
The PROSPER 7000 Turbo press, which prints with water-based KODAK EKTACOLOR inks, will be presented in a roll-to-roll configuration with unwinder and rewinder. With printing speeds of up to 410 m/min, the machine is considered to be one of the fastest inkjet printing machines. Turbo, Performance and Quality print modes enable simple fine-tuning with optimum speed and quality. Trade visitors will also be able to view an extensive collection of print samples that illustrate the high quality and variety of applications.
‘We are excited to bring the PROSPER 7000 Turbo press to Europe for the first time and to raise the bar in terms of speed and production efficiency at Hunkeler Innovationdays. This innovative inkjet press will help printers transition from offset to digital and enable them to profitably serve their customers,’ said Jim Continenza, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kodak. ‘Our PROSPER presses, based on high-speed continuous inkjet technologies and utilising our KODACHROME and EKTACOLOR inks and KODAK OPTIMAX primers, are helping printers succeed in the ‘and’ age of print by enabling ultra-productive, cost-effective production of a wide range of applications.’
