Japanese technology group Fujifilm is now taking orders in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for the Fujifilm Jet Press 1160CF. The new high-speed continuous feed inkjet press was unveiled at a special event in the region on 9 and 10 July 2025.
Broadcast live from Japan, the online event gave print professionals an in-depth look at the Jet Press 1160CF and 1160CFG models, which are designed for a wide range of commercial printing applications. The event was hosted from the UK by Mark Stephenson, Business Development Manager at Fujifilm Europe. He was supported by Danny Bakker, European Demonstrator & Application Specialist, Fujifilm Belgium, and Grzegorz Szymanko, Product Manager, Graphic Communication Division, EMEA, Fujifilm Europe, from Future Edge, Fujifilm’s innovation centre in Ebina, Japan.
The new Jet Press 1160CF uses highly concentrated pigment inks that enable uncoated and matt-coated materials to be printed with consistent quality. The 1160CF produces high-resolution prints at up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. The small footprint and low energy consumption offer economic benefits without compromising on productivity and quality. The integration of downstream finishing enables an additional level of automation. The Jet Press 1160CFG is an enhanced configuration of the CF model and features Fujifilm paper stabilisation technology suitable for printing on standard offset stock.
“We are delighted to finally be able to offer a wider range of Jet Press 1160 solutions to customers in our region. The technologies in these presses offer an unbeatable combination of quality, consistency and performance. Whether you’re printing books, magazines or high-impact direct mail, these presses are designed to deliver value from day one,” adds Stephenson.
