Labelexpo Asia 2025 will take place from 2 to 5 December at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and is considered the leading event for the label and packaging printing industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Smart Label Trail covers RFID label manufacturing and offers conference sessions on RFID technologies and applications. Supported by HP, SINOMECH, KING-MO and Jetfx, the Digital Pouch Factory demonstrates the process of printing, laminating, digital finishing and pouch manufacturing to create flexible packaging products.

The full-day label seminar takes place the day before Labelexpo begins and offers analyses of the global label market, trends in global supply chains and technological developments.
The AWA China Label & Release Liner Seminar, organised in collaboration with Alexander Watson Associates AWA, is a must-attend event for manufacturers of adhesive labels and release liners and will take place on 1 December. The Active & Intelligent Packaging Summit highlights how labelling technologies are transforming supply chains, customer loyalty and product protection.
There will also be live forums where industry experts will share their knowledge of digital label printing, cosmetics packaging, RFID, creating promotional videos for social media, and anti-counterfeiting and traceability technologies. The RAIN Encoding Master Class & Certification Exam will cover aspects of these technologies.
The Label Material Technology Masterclass will focus on the properties and structure of adhesive label materials, manufacturing processes, adhesives and release coatings, while the Smart Factory Masterclass will offer analyses of the latest advances in automation technology, including AI.
Global Connect Hub
New this year is the Global Connect Hub for international buyers in the categories of digital printing, flexographic printing, offset printing, self-adhesive materials, printing inks and finishing equipment. With English-language support, the hub aims to promote contacts for international visitors.
Labelexpo Asia
Held every two years, Labelexpo Asia, part of the Labelexpo Global Series, is the largest trade fair for label and packaging printing technology in the region. Labelexpo Asia was originally held in Singapore before moving to Shanghai in 2003.
