EyeC GmbH looks back on a successful participation at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona. The international trade fair for labelling and packaging solutions provided a platform to present the latest developments in automated artwork checking and print image inspection and to engage in dialogue with customers, partners and industry experts from all over the world.
From 16 to 19 September, EyeC presented its latest innovations and solutions in the field of automated artwork checking and print image inspection for pre-press, offline and inline inspection. The focus of the trade fair presentation was on the new AI-based error classification for the EyeC ProofRunner Web inline inspection system. The use of artificial intelligence enables automated, content-based analysis of quality deviations for the first time. The pre-trained system categorises detected errors precisely, distinguishing between quality-critical errors that require attention and production-irrelevant deviations that have no impact on the quality of the end product.
The new EyeC Proofiler Graphic Connect received particular attention. The SaaS-based prepress solution works independently of operating systems and hardware and can compare print-ready or step-and-repeat files with approved artwork files. With intuitive operation and seamless integration into workflow systems such as Esko or Hybrid Software, the cloud software offers a modern response to the increasing demands of the graphics industry and packaging production.
