Industrial Print Integration (IPI) is recognised as the leading industry conference for innovative printing applications. The 2025 programme includes developments in the fields of AI-supported robotics, human-machine interfaces and new printing technologies. The fourth edition of the industry event will take place on 12 and 13 November 2025 at the Crowne Plaza in Düsseldorf-Neuss.
AI and biomedical applications
The programme features presentations that address transformative trends in the industry such as
– AI-powered robotics: market and technology trends
– Dead fronts, light guides, illuminated displays: inkjet conquers human-machine interfaces
– Why are chemical kinetics accelerated in microscopic droplets?
– The future of functional and industrial printing
Technologies and applications
Technologies that are opening up opportunities for industry will be highlighted, from packaging and functional printing to 3D applications, printed electronics and biomedical innovations. Attendees can explore innovative developments including capillary printing, electrohydrodynamic jet printing, in-air microfluidics, surface wave aerosol printing, nanoimprinting and sharp laser marking. For the first time, the OEM perspective will be represented at the conference with contributions from SPGPrints, Micro-Craft and C-Marx.
Recognised in the industry
industry professionals had the following to say about the 2024 edition:
“A great conference that provided interesting technical discussions and positive interactions. These discussions have led to new ideas and new products that will be of great value and potential benefit to our company,” said Trent Muhlenkamp of Aprecia Pharmaceuticals.
Edgar Hecht from Schreiner Group praised the scope of the event: ‘The mix of different technologies (electronics, printheads, inks, drying, measurement) gives a good overview of all aspects of inkjet printing.’
Leading companies in the industry
The table-top exhibition features companies from industry and academia such as Agfa, Fujifilm Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Sun Chemical, University of Cambridge and many others. Limited exhibition space is still available for companies wishing to showcase innovations at ipi-conference.com.
Industrial Print Integration
IPI has established itself as a key contributor to the technology roadmap for professionals involved in innovative print applications.
ESMA
ESMA has been active in the industrial printing sector since 1990 and, as a European association for screen and digital printing manufacturers, has developed into an organisation that represents industrial, functional and speciality printing. Over the years, ESMA has developed the concept of the Knowledge Hub, which today provides cross-technology expertise to almost 70 European manufacturer members and technology partners.
