Fogra Academy 2026:
Colour management, printing, processing, AI

Technologies are developing rapidly, production processes are becoming more complex and new tools are finding their way into everyday work in print and media production. Anyone who wants to make confident decisions and work efficiently in the long term should regularly update and deepen their knowledge.

That is why the Fogra Academy is offering practice-oriented seminars on colour management, printing, print finishing and artificial intelligence from April to November 2026. The courses are aimed at beginners as well as specialists and managers from printing companies, publishing houses, agencies and the supplier industry.

The programme covers 12 different topics. In the area of colour management, the training courses range from the basics of digital and multicolour printing to colour management in 3D scanning and printing. The programme is supplemented by seminars on colour measurement and evaluation. In the field of printing, the focus is on the basics of printing technology and offset printing, as well as process control according to established standards. Errors in printed products and how to avoid them are also dealt with in a practical manner. Training courses on print finishing, from basic processes to error prevention and cost reduction, round off the programme. In addition, a seminar on ‘AI for media designers’ provides a sound basic understanding of the use of artificial intelligence.

Participants can work with real-life examples, measuring devices and production samples, and gain insights into the processes. They can contribute and discuss their own questions or current issues from their everyday working lives. If required, Fogra also offers all participants a free 30-minute 1:1 coaching session. The new course programme is now available and includes all one- to three-day seminars from April to November 2026.
