FESPA is a major platform for innovation, and this year Brother once again showcased technologies designed for performance, efficiency and growth. Numerous visitors made the show an impressive event for Brother, inspired by diverse conversations, partnership exchange and shared enthusiasm for the textile and industrial printing industry. The following highlights were presented.
DTRX – direct-to-film printing solution
The new DTF system DTRX, an in-house development from Brother, is designed for industrial mass production with high print quality and reliability. The machine was developed according to strict quality standards and, according to Brother, offers consistent performance even under demanding production conditions. The market launch of the DTRX with environmentally friendly inks and a print width of 80 cm is scheduled for the near future.
GTX600 Enhanced – direct digital textile printing
The latest enhancement of the GTX600 series is designed for demanding applications such as high fashion and premium retail and offers outstanding print results with high wash resistance.
Myze – Workflow automation software
Myze is a proprietary production management platform that is continuously being enhanced with new features. Myze supports a wide range of printing technologies, simplifies complex workflows, reduces manual work steps and maximises throughput.
Generation 2 DTE system
The hardware and software of the new direct-to-embroidery system comes from Brother and enables prints to be precisely aligned with embroidered textiles; a previously complex process that is now simple, according to the manufacturer. In combination with the GTX printer, CMYK colour can be printed directly onto the white embroidery surface at 1200 dpi.
Button Badge Maker
A fully automatic button and patch printer for retail, live events and on-demand merchandising. A system designed to set new standards by replacing manual production steps and enabling companies to personalise at the point of sale.
WF1-L640 – Latex large format printer
The large-format latex printer with GREENGUARD Gold-certified inks and a two-year printhead guarantee was developed for signage and interior graphics. With a resolution of 1200 dpi, it impresses with high image sharpness for demanding applications, according to Brother. Deep, rich blacks can be printed and the printer is also suitable for backlit graphics and strong visual effects in illuminated displays are possible.
