At stand 3D92 at Labelexpo Europe, 16-19 September 2025 in Barcelona, Sun Chemical will showcase innovative, regulatory compliant and sustainable inks, overprint varnishes and adhesives for labels and packaging.
The portfolio includes solutions for conventional and digital printing systems that are designed to meet current performance, regulatory and sustainability requirements. From UV LED flexo inks to inkjet technologies, Sun Chemical shows how efficient production, high-quality print images and circular packaging concepts are possible.
Packaging circularity
Sustainability and compliance with producer responsibility legislation are priorities for Sun Chemical and with SolarScreen Wave, Sun Chemical is introducing a new range of UV LED screen printing inks for labels. The product line includes migration compliant inks, an overprint varnish and a tactile effect varnish.
Digital solutions
Sun Chemical is a leading provider of solutions for digital label printing and the ink portfolio for UV and UV LED labels supports inkjet printhead systems as well as flexible solutions for OEM requirements. In the area of digital printing inks, Sun Chemical offers LED-curing solutions with formulations adapted to regulatory requirements, overprintable systems and overprint varnishes that support the use of digital printing on various substrates. Sun Chemical also offers primers, overprint varnishes and laminating adhesives.
Colour management
Sun Chemical will also be presenting the SunColorBox, a package of tools and services that enables homogeneous and digital colour communication. The SunColorBox enables efficient colour management with spot colours, CMYK or extended colour space.
