PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION
Multichannel and dialogue marketing

Three months before the kick-off on 13 May, PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION 2025 is on course for success: Numerous international industry players will once again be taking part, making the Düsseldorf congress trade fair an important touchpoint for multichannel and dialogue marketing in year one after drupa 2024.

PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION promises innovation, future prospects, knowledge transfer and networking. Exhibitors and speakers at PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION 2025 offer a range of opportunities to discover trends and be inspired. Global players such as Konica Minolta, Canon, Kurz and Carl Berberich have already been confirmed as exhibitors and will be presenting their solutions and applications. ‘We are delighted that many well-known companies from the previous event are already taking part again this time. At the same time, we would like to attract new exhibitors who will enrich PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION with fresh impulses,’ says Rüdiger Maaß, Managing Director of Fachverband Medienproduktion e.V. (FMP).

Innovation platform for media production

Konica Minolta is focussing on digital production printing at the trade fair. ‘Digital production printing has never been as creative, colourful and sustainable as it is today,’ says Werner Theißen, Managing Director of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Germany & Austria. He emphasises that, as a multi-sensory medium, print arouses emotions, influences purchasing decisions and thus makes an essential contribution to successful multi-channel campaigns. ‘The congress trade fair is the most important meeting place for decision-makers and offers a unique combination of know-how transfer, networking and presentation of innovative technologies.’PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION is also an indispensable platform for long-standing participants such as Canon. ‘Here we experience the entire media production process chain in one place. The future-orientated mix of topics and the direct exchange with customers and interested parties make the event so valuable for us,’ explains Laura Hennigfeld, Manager Production Marketing DP&S at Canon Germany. Britta Ketzler, Head of Marketing at Carl Berberich, adds: ‘PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION is a great networking event that offers us the opportunity to hold valuable discussions and make new contacts in an inspiring environment.’

Finishing meets sustainability

A special feature of PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION is the presentation of innovative technologies in highlight projects. One of these projects is being realised by the Kurz Foundation. Elke Andersch, Marketing Manager Packaging and Print at Kurz, emphasises: ‘The holistic congress concept of PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION offers us the opportunity to present a wide range of analogue and digital finishing solutions to visitors. Together with our subsidiary Scribos, we will be demonstrating how finishing can be combined with functional security elements in the planned highlight project. It goes without saying that we will also be presenting sustainable solutions.’ At the centre of the project is the presentation of beekeeper’s gold – a high-quality honey that is presented in a specially designed honeycomb jar. The accompanying packaging, designed by Julia König, Senior Designer at Kurz Design Management, takes consumers on a visual journey into the world of bees.

Innovations, trends and visions

In eight theme worlds Dialogue Marketing, Value Added Printing, Label & Packaging, Postpress, Brand & Product, Interior & Exterior Design, Sustainable Media Production and Programmatic Print, exhibitors will be showcasing the many facets and applications of print in the multichannel publishing environment.
