Digi-Paq, a label printing company based in Kortemark, Belgium, has installed a fourth digital Screen Truepress Label 350SAI-S inkjet label press to meet increased market demand.
‘We started with a Screen label press in 2017,’ says Christophe Parrein, Co-Managing Director at Digi-Paq. ‘And because we always want to be at the cutting edge of technology, we have bought six machines over the last seven years and replaced our older machines with the latest models. Today, we have four Truepress Label 350SAI-S UV inkjet presses that work continuously in two daily shifts to handle all orders.’ Parrein adds: ‘We have seen that technology is changing. The conventional production process was effective for a long time, but customers have developed different expectations and new requirements. Digital technology has responded to these demands and given us unique selling points. We believed that digital technology would only get bigger, and I think we were right.’

Screen’s technology enables Digi-Paq to achieve shorter lead times, consistent colour, print quality and flexibility. Chemical and water-resistant inks ensure that 85 per cent of labels do not require a protective coating.
