Heytex Group Core Business Part of Freudenberg

The antitrust authorities in Germany, Austria and Poland have approved the takeover of the Heytex Group’s core business by Freudenberg Performance Materials, the parent company of Mehler Texnologies. This means that Heytex’s core business with three production sites (in Germany and China) and all central functions will in future be part of the newly formed specialist for coated technical textiles.

Cotton Classics Roadshow 2025 – 40 brands, 18 locations, 7 countries

38th Leipzig Graphic Exchange – Play Spaces

‘Spiel-Räume’ is the theme of the 38th Leipziger Grafikbörse. The exhibition, which will take place from 23 November 2024 to 26 January 2025 at the Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig, presents contemporary graphic art. The submissions from 87 artists from Germany, France, Ukraine and the Netherlands address the exhibition’s theme in different ways. On display are physical ‘play spaces’ such as toys, playgrounds, landscapes or rooms.

New development from Mayer & Cie – First braiding machine with 48 carriers

Albstadt-based braiding machine manufacturer Mayer & Cie. has been offering braiding machines with 48 carriers since autumn 2024 and the first MR-11 braiding machine is due to leave the factory in Albstadt before Christmas. The first MR-15 machine equipped with 48 carriers is scheduled to follow in spring 2025. With braiding machines with 48 carriers, customers benefit from larger inner tube diameters, short set-up times and large spool volumes when processing yarn and wire.
