VG Schoepe Berlin GmbH in Dahme/Berlin has been successfully recertified for digital printing on corrugated board for the sixth time. Back in 2013, VG Schoepe was the first company in the world to be certified according to the ProcessStandard Digital Printing (PSD) for corrugated board.
The Fogra PSD enables controllable and predictable production in small and large-format digital printing thanks to clear interface definitions and objective tests. During the current audit, all requirements were met and in some points exceeded. ‘This result underlines our high quality standards and our commitment to continuous development,’ emphasises Denny Schuster, Site Manager at VG Schoepe Berlin GmbH. ‘Special thanks go to Dr Jürgen Krüger, certified Fogra Digital Print Partner, for his excellent support and preparation for the certification`,he adds.
‘The on-site refresher training that followed the recertification testifies to VG Schoepe’s quality leadership,’ concluded Dr Andreas Kraushaar from Fogra. The head of the prepress department carried out the certification together with Fogra employee Dr Moritz Feil and gave the participants an update on process control and colour management.
Fogra developed the PSD to enable reliable and reproducible production in digital printing on corrugated board.
