Mutoh Europe nv, the EMEA business unit of Mutoh Industries Co. Ltd. of Japan, announces the launch of the XPJ-1682SR DS Pro, a 64″ (1625 mm) wide dual-head dye-sublimation printer designed for textile and soft signage production.
Based on Mutoh’s XpertJet platform, the XPJ-1682SR DS Pro integrates two AccuFine HD 3200 nozzle printheads in a staggered arrangement and delivers class-leading drop placement accuracy. Tailored for sublimation transfer workflows, the printer supports up to 8 colour channels (including dual CMYK) and features automation tools such as DropMaster2, FeedMaster, Nozzle Area Select and Media Tracker, enabling reliable performance with different paper types and roll lengths.
The printer is equipped with Mutoh’s i-screen web algorithm to minimise banding and features multi-stage pinch rollers for flexible media handling. The XPJ-1682SR DS Pro is offered with motorised rewind systems (40 kg or 100 kg). The XPJ1682SR DS Pro was developed for Mutoh’s DS4 ProFlex inks and enables colour-critical productions with high repeat rates, such as sportswear, interior textiles and promotional items. Highlights include 2 AccuFine HD printheads, 8 ink channels, media tracker automation tools, integrated heating, motorised rewind options and designed for DS4 ProFlex inks.
