Mutoh Europe nv, the EMEA business unit of Mutoh Industries Co Ltd in Japan, announces the launch of MUTOH Direct in its Europe business area. Mutoh Direct is a new cloud service for MUTOH dealers that enables remote monitoring of printer status and usage by end users to ensure more effective service and support.
With the already familiar MUTOH Club cloud service, users can access their printer’s operational status, statistical data and product authorisation management, get product information, various software and tools.
The new MUTOH Direct is an enhanced service of MUTOH Club for MUTOH dealers, which allows to remotely access end users’ printer information. This can be monitored so that possible causes of printer failure can be proactively predicted, resolved and immediate action taken. This allows dealers to reduce the number of on-site visits to end customers and printer downtime, and improve overall service. In addition, by remotely monitoring printer status, it is possible to advise end users on optimal printer operation, thereby extending printer life. MUTOH Direct has been developed in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (GDPR).
