From 28 May, Mutoh Europe will be exhibiting at Drupa (Hall 9, Stand B10) to showcase Mutoh’s current and future digital printer portfolio for sign & display, dye-sublimation, direct-to-object and direct-to-substrate proofing.
The latest digital printing technology for outdoor sign and display, interior decoration, packaging proofing, direct-to-object printing and sublimation applications will be on show. These include the XpertJet 1462UF UV LED flatbed printer. The XpertJet 1462UF is a UV LED flatbed printer with 6 colours, movable beam guidance system and a table size of 1420 mm x 700 mm. Objects up to 150 mm thick can be printed and the printer has a robust chassis and a 4-zone magnetic vacuum bed that can support weights of up to 50 kg/sqm. The two offset printheads for independent CMYK and white/varnish printing and two 4-inch wide UV curing lamps enable flawless 2-layer printing without compromising speed, according to Mutoh.
Mutoh Europe also announced that Frank Schenk will assume the position of Managing Director of Mutoh Europe nv & Mutoh Deutschland GmbH on 1 July and will oversee all sales, pre-sales, logistics, marketing, product and application support and after-sales support activities across the EMEA region.
Frank Schenk, who has been General Manager Sales for Mutoh since July 2021, takes over the role of Managing Director from Mitsuo Takatsu, who has led the company since 2020.
In his new role as Managing Director, Frank Schenk will be supported by A. Ogawa, Managing Director and Chairman of Mutoh Europe, and Stephan Heintjens, who was recently promoted to General Manager Applications, Marketing, Service & QA.
Commenting on his promotion to Managing Director, Frank Schenk said: ‘I look forward to continuing the successful journey started by Mitsuo Takatsu together with our newly formed management team and with the further support of our experienced and dedicated Mutoh teams in Belgium and Germany. I am confident about the future business development of Mutoh in the EMEA region.’
