Two new flatbed printers
from swissQprint

swissQprint is launching two new flatbed models, tailored to users with high quality requirements and small to medium production volumes. Both models, Topi 5 and Oryx 5, complete the Generation 5 launched in January 2025.

The models of different sizes are available immediately: Topi 5 is a 3.2×2 metre flatbed printer that can produce up to 126 sqm/h. Oryx 5 is the 2.5 m wide counterpart with a maximum output of 114 square metres per hour. According to the manufacturer, both allow maximum variety and are highly precise thanks to a roller option. ‘With the new, synchronised overall range, we have a tailor-made solution for every size of business, with Topi and Oryx aimed at users with high quality standards and small to medium print volumes,’ explains Carmen Eicher, Head of Sales and Marketing at swissQprint.

5th generation

‘Apart from the lower productivity and price level, Topi and Oryx are identical to the other 5th generation models and offer a whole range of competitive advantages,’ explains Carmen Eicher. With ten freely configurable colour channels, they all enable the greatest possible variety, for example with the use of neon, orange, varnish or primer. swissQprint has put the 5th generation flatbed on a new footing with a maximum resolution of 1350 dpi and state-of-the-art linear drives.

Modular and reliable

All swissQprint flatbed printers are available with options that allow users to customise or expand printers according to their needs. Roll and double roll options, an oversize format option for rigid media up to four metres long or a catch paper option can eliminate the need for cleaning in the event of regular edge printing. Long-standing customers confirm: ‘swissQprint machines have always had a service life of over 10 years and provide incredibly reliable service even in their advanced years.’
