Augmented Intelligence:
Gamechanger for content quality

Due to a shortage of skilled workers, rising quality requirements, cost pressure and digital transformation, the graphics industry is at a turning point. Augmented Intelligence can provide answers in the form of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). An FMP online seminar on 5 November 2025 will show how Retrieval Augmented Generation can combine human expertise with AI.

RAG combines information retrieval from verified sources with the generative capabilities of large language models. Unlike conventional AI systems, RAG works with curated, trustworthy content. In order to convey this technology in a practical way, a 90-minute online seminar has been designed for representatives of the graphic arts industry. Entitled ‘Augmented Intelligence through Retrieval Augmented Generation’, the format combines theoretical knowledge with concrete application examples – including the WE.LOVE.PRINT pilot project as a real-life use case.

Participants will learn how AI can be used not as a replacement for human expertise, but as an intelligent supplement to it, in order to optimise processes, make knowledge accessible and ensure content quality. The event is aimed at managers, decision-makers and experts from the graphic arts industry, particularly those working in business development, innovation, IT, media production and quality management. It is also aimed at members of the Media Production Association and interested parties from the WE.LOVE.PRINT community.
