PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION 2025
Strong platform opens up new perspectives

From 13 to 14 May, the PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION provided information about the latest technologies, practical applications and strategic solutions. The combination of trade fair, congress and practical applications made Düsseldorf an important meeting place for the print, media and communications industry in the DACH region.

Meeting point for the industry with strong partners

With exhibitors such as Canon, FKS, Horizon, Konica Minolta, KURZ and Polar Mohr, as well as a top-class lecture programme, the congress trade fair underlined its status as an important meeting place for the print, media and communications industry.

‘We would like to thank the exhibitors, speakers and partners who are constantly working with us to develop and shape the PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION concept,’ emphasises Rüdiger Maaß, Managing Director of Fachverband Medienproduktion e.V. (FMP). ‘The event now feels like a real class reunion for the industry – characterised by intensive personal discussions, an intimate atmosphere and a shared desire to make a difference.’ Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, Messe Düsseldorf, also emphasises the importance of the event: ‘PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION has become a permanent fixture for many in the industry – not least because it combines orientation, inspiration and concrete solutions. It impresses with its strong practical relevance, innovative applications and in-depth expertise – and hits the nerve of the industry with its topics.’

Knowledge transfer, networking and promoting young talent

PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION is regarded as a platform for intensive, in-depth knowledge transfer and visitors were given an insight into the possibilities of modern print, packaging and digital technologies. The focus was also on the next generation of the industry. Following the launch of the Youngster Talent Initiative in previous years, several vocational schools were on site and took the opportunity to familiarise themselves with current topics, technologies and practical applications at first hand.

Joint signal for the future

The leading trade fair announced its partnership with the industry campaign WE.LOVE.PRINT. ‘With the partnership to the industry initiative WE.LOVE.PRINT, drupa is strengthening the nationwide initiatives of the campaign, which underpins the importance and economic relevance of the industry,’ says Sabine Geldermann from Messe Düsseldorf. ‘Together we are providing impetus, creating reach and emphasising the resilience and future viability of the print industry.’
