André Knaus has been the new Head of Marketing & Digital Operations at Albstadt-based Gustav Daiber GmbH since January 2025. The graduate economist and IT manager has a broad profile of expertise in marketing and technology and has set himself the goal of positioning the corporate fashion manufacturer as a pioneer for innovative, digital solutions in the industry in the long term.
With a degree in business administration, specialising in marketing and sales, and a part-time master’s degree in IT management, Knaus has a deep understanding of the interface between marketing, technology and business processes. His many years of experience in IT-supported digitalisation projects at an international automotive supplier qualify Knaus for his new role. As Head of Digital Operations at Daiber since 2022, he has successfully driven forward e-commerce and process optimisation driven forward.
Brand image and digital innovation
One of Knaus’ particular concerns in his new role is to further standardise the Daiber brand image. For Knaus, the focus will be on further developing the textile company as a corporate fashion platform in order to offer customers real added value through innovative offerings. ‘I see ongoing digitalisation not just as a tool, but as a strategic commercial lever to ensure our long-term success and offer our customers services that make their work easier and drive it forward,’ he explains. In addition to optimising digital sales channels, Knaus wants to seamlessly combine traditional and digital marketing strategies.
The Managing Directors of Gustav Daiber GmbH, Christof Kunze and Kai Gminder, welcome Knaus in his new role: ‘André Knaus brings with him the ideal combination of technological know-how, project experience and marketing expertise. With his broad understanding of digital and analogue processes, he is exactly the right person to drive forward our vision of a forward-looking company that is well positioned for the challenges of today and tomorrow,’ says Christof Kunze. Kai Gminder adds: ‘His experience and commitment will help us to further strengthen the Daiber brand. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and the impetus he will provide – and are convinced that our customers will benefit from this.’
