The plastics processing industry is looking forward to the autumn highlight Fakuma from 15 to 19 October 2024 in Friedrichshafen. The 29th edition of the international trade event is one of the most important trade fairs of the year for many companies. ‘Last year, we welcomed 1,636 visitors from 40 countries in twelve halls, a foreign share of 38 per cent, which will be similar again this year,’ says Annemarie Schur, Fakuma Project Manager at trade fair organiser P. E. Schall. ‘Twelve halls plus the East and West Foyers are occupied. As always, it will be packed in Friedrichshafen, and we’re looking forward to it!’

Textile Printing & Sustainability 15 and 16 October in Düsseldorf
Four weeks before the start of the second edition of the Textile Printing & Sustainability (TPS) conference, the programme is presented. The presentations by experts from industry and research centres will focus on technology choices, automation practices and environmentally conscious business models. The event will take place on 15 and 16 October 2024 at the Radisson Blue Conference Hotel Düsseldorf and is aimed at audiences from all stages of the textile value chain.
Europe’s packaging industry 2024 FACHPACK in Nuremberg
From 24 to 26 September 2024, the European packaging industry will meet at FACHPACK, the trade fair for packaging, technology and processes. Over 1,400 exhibitors will showcase packaging materials, packaging aids, packaging machines and packaging technology at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.

The ‘Triplex SL One Shot’ LF laminating machine was impressively presented at Drupa. During the demonstrations, visitors were able to marvel at how substrates were laminated with various adhesives to create interesting, innovative Triplex laminates. Both recyclable triple PE or triple PP composites and the polyester/aluminium/PE composite.

The DRUPA trade fair recently came to an end and many exhibitors presented the impressive technological level of the printing industry. The Multi-Plot team took part in the special Touchpoint Textile forum with the d.gen Artrix OMNI Pro printing machine.
Multi-Plot, EPSON and SUMMA at the TEXPROCESS
Technology. Efficiency. Progress. International manufacturers of technologies, accessories and services for garment production and textile processing met at Texprocess in Frankfurt. Printing, transferring and cutting were presented by three specialists in a microfactory: the printing machines from EPSON, the calenders from Multi-Plot and the laser cutter from SUMMA created a range of textile products in a coordinated production chain.
