FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 will be expanded to include the new SmartHub and ESE Pavilion events, as well as familiar events such as the FESPA Awards 2025, the World Wrap Masters competition and the Club FESPA Lounge. Running parallel to the trade shows (FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo and Personalisation Experience), which will take place in Berlin from 6 to 9 May 2025, each event will provide an insight into the respective market.
SmartHub
As part of the Personalisation Experience (Hall 5.2, Stand A55), SmartHub visitors can take part in the SmartHub Smart Factory Trail to see intelligent manufacturing and on-demand technology. At the Smart Factory Trail, interested parties can get an idea of the importance of reducing waste and increasing the efficiency of the latest digital production processes. So far, the following partners have confirmed their participation in the Smart Factory Trail: Antigro Designer, Inkcups, Mimaki, Neolt, Polyprint and Trotec.
Conference programme
The SmartHub conference will take place over the first three days of the event and will provide visitors with informative advice on personalisation. Confirmed speakers include: Deborah Corn, Print Ambassador, Print Media Centr and Executive Director, Girls Who Print; Kerry Sanders, Vice President of Marketing & New Business Development, EFI; Richard Askam, Co-Founder & COO, You Are The Star Books; and Gemma Mitchell, Managing Director, Paragon Dagenham.
ESE Pavilion
The European Sign Expo, taking place at the same time, will focus on new members of the sign industry. This area will be highlighted by the exhibitors’ products. Innovative technologies from the fields of digital signage, LED and software will be presented in the pavilion. Companies that have confirmed their participation include Fast Digital Publicate, Polarstar and Verbax.
FESPA Awards
There will also be the FESPA Awards, recognising excellence and creativity in 18 different categories, including print, signmaking, special effects, textile and garment printing, vehicle wrapping and packaging. The shortlisted entries will be on display during the show. The winners will be announced by our expert judging panel – Debbie McKeegan, Jacek Stencel, Graeme Richardson-Locke and Simon Pless – at the official awards ceremony on Wednesday 7 May.
World Wrap Masters
At the World Wrap Masters, competitors will wrap vehicles and surprise objects to reach the finals on day 3 and 4. Visitors will be able to participate in several live demonstrations led by guest instructors and judges Kiss Lajos, Justin Pate, Ole Solskin Ravn, Ivan Tenchev and Jeremy Conner. This year’s event is being organised in collaboration with print partner Epson, product partners CARLAS TPU ColorPPF, Arlon Graphics and 3M, and support partners Wrapstock, The Wrap Institute and PROTOKONA Tools.
Michael Ryan, Director of FESPA Global Print Expo, explains: ‘Our events offer our visitors the opportunity to take a look at the upcoming trends and challenges in the speciality print and signmaking industry. Our new SmartHub event, which includes the Smart Factory and conference programme, will encourage visionaries from across the print industry to expand their knowledge of smart manufacturing.’ He continues: ‘I am also looking forward to the World Wrap Masters and the FESPA Awards again, both of which are a true celebration of talent and excellence in different vertical markets. In addition, the conference programme will provide another opportunity for visitors to learn, network and maximise their business growth – which is exactly what FESPA is all about. We are delighted to be back in Berlin and can’t wait to be the ultimate meeting place for visionaries in print, sign and personalisation in May!’
