at the R+T in Stuttgart

The Bad Emstal-based company Multi-Plot will once again be exhibiting at the “R+T” trade fair in Stuttgart this year. The world’s leading trade fair for roller shutters, doors and sun protection systems will open its doors from 19 to 23 February. Multi-Plot, the specialist for digital textile printing systems, will be providing information on the many different options for printing outdoor and indoor textiles, such as privacy and sun protection, roller blinds, curtains, screens and awnings.

Together with Korean partner d.gen, the “Teleios OMNI Pro” printing machine will be presented, demonstrating printing with pigment ink and the new CBS coating technology. Production in a single operation with online fixing, as well as high light fastness of the printing inks, good washability after printing or Ökotex 100 certification are key features that will be communicated to interested visitors at the trade fair.

Printing is done on fabrics from Junkers and Müllers. A new technology for printing on acrylic fabrics will be shown for the first time. Using a special transfer printing technique, aqueous and highly lightfast inks are transferred to textile rolls and finished goods from Sattler. A special white inkjet ink ensures brilliant printing on dark and coloured fabrics. Colourful polyester fabrics can be printed cost-effectively using sublimation technology. Thanks to the new green-grade certified inks, tarpaulins without PVC can also be printed sustainably. In addition to fabrics, Multi-Plot will be showcasing a new 3D printing technique for powder coatings on metal, ceramic and glass. Any number of moulds can be digitally printed using a vacuum pressing process. The printed surfaces have the same properties as the powder coating used.

Since 1990, everything at Multi-Plot in Bad Emstal has centred on advertising technology and digital printing. Founded as an independent engineering office, the company based in the district of Kassel is known as a specialist and exclusive dealer in the field of “digital printing systems”. With experience in sublimation and digital textile printing since 1997, Multi-Plot sees itself as a pioneer of these new technologies.
