The two-day event “Mimaki Day” and “Textile Day” at Multi-Plot’s technical centre in Bad Emstal was a successful event. In order to offer guests a wide range of textile printing, renowned partners were invited to present their products.
In addition to printing press manufacturers such as d. gen, MIMAKI or EPSON, Maegis was also present, who showed Mult-Plot’s latest business area Direct-To-Foil. Companies such as Bergertextiles, Georg-Otto-Friedrich, Innova Art, Ergosoft, Klieverik, HeatJet, Primex, Bodyscanning and the Institute ITRS were on site especially for textiles, media, software, fixation and other additions. On a separate exhibition area, the latest products were presented, tested and a lot of information was conveyed.
The latest d. gen Artrix OMNI PRO, which is equipped with an adhesive print blanket and is especially suitable for pigment printing, impresses with excellent print results and 133 sqm/h at a print width of 183 cm. Ten print heads and CBS coating technology enable textile production on any type of fabric, such as cotton, polyester, viscose or mixed fabrics.
A special highlight was the introduction of the MIMAKI Tiger 600-1800TS, which is currently only available at the Multi-Plot Technikum in Bad Emstal. The 180 cm wide high-speed inkjet sublimation printer combines high productivity (print speed up to 550qm/h) with outstanding image quality. Features such as a special transport mechanism for thin transfer paper, ink support functions, wrinkle-removing rollers or drying units make this machine an innovative industrial machine. All other presses, such as the EPSON SC-F10000, calenders from Klieverik and HeatJet or other MIMAKI and DTF systems, also impressed with excellent printing results.
The exchange of information and novelties, the awakening of inspirations and the communication of opportunities around textile printing were also at the forefront of the 2-day event. The Multi-Plot Technikum is still open to everyone.
