Print Matters 2025
Highlight in Zurich

The latest edition of the Print Matters conference brought together more than 100 industry experts from almost 30 countries. The event, which was organised by Intergraf and NOPA and also involved the World Print & Communication Forum, took place in Zurich on 13 June 2025.

The annual event served as a platform for industry leaders to network and explore new developments and perspectives in the graphic arts industry. Representatives from national printing associations, printers, suppliers, speakers and delegates from around the world came together to share insights, expertise and forward-looking strategies. The conference fostered stimulating discussions on pressing challenges and opportunities for the industry on the topics of business development, sustainability, industry outlook and security. Key topics included the impact of AI-driven production, industry consolidation through acquisitions and efforts to attract the next generation of print professionals.

The conference offered practical insights into compliance with the European Deforestation Regulation and a ClimateCalc case study on environmental impact. Suppliers discussed the future of print and assessed market shifts and the effectiveness of print advertising in the media landscape. Another topic was cyber security in newspaper production and developments in the paper supply chain.

The conference was moderated by Ulrich Stetter, President of Intergraf and Managing Director of Druckhaus Mainfranken GmbH, and Håvard Grjotheim, President of NOPA and Working Chairman of Scandbook Holding AB. The conference concluded with a powerful message from Dick Ranzijn, CEO of Rodi Groep, who warned that cybercrime is a growing, often underestimated threat to the printing industry. In view of the increasing digitalisation of business processes, he called on companies to make cyber security a priority.
