The SmartHub, 6-9 May in Berlin, includes a series of expert conferences and a Smart Factory Trail. The programme includes the latest technologies and software that companies can use to reduce waste, increase operational efficiency and take advantage of digital production methods. The Smart Factory Trail, a guided tour of the exhibition via the FESPA app and QR codes, leads to selected exhibitors.
The German Printing and Media Industries Federation welcomes the rapid agreement reached by the CDU/CSU and SPD in the coalition negotiations. This is because Germany would need a reliable government with the ability to act in order to bring the economy back to where it once was: world export champion, innovative location with high economic growth and strong small and medium-sized companies. From the BVDM’s point of view, however, the partially good approaches are not enough and vague promises must be quickly followed by reforms.
FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 will be expanded to include the new SmartHub and ESE Pavilion events, as well as familiar events such as the FESPA Awards 2025, the World Wrap Masters competition and the Club FESPA Lounge. Running parallel to the trade shows (FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo and Personalisation Experience), which will take place in Berlin from 6 to 9 May 2025, each event will provide an insight into the respective market.

At LOPEC, Henkel presented innovations for end applications of printed electronics in various markets. Functional material solutions for smart surfaces, intelligent healthcare and smart connectivity were presented. In addition, Henkel experts presented a novel sustainability concept to drive innovation in printed electronics.
Under the motto ‘Beauty is colourful. We are the colour experts’, Sun Chemical will be presenting new effect pigments in electrifying colours for the cosmetics and beauty industry at in-cosmetics Global in Amsterdam from 8 to 10 April 2025.
