Durst has announced the strategic acquisition of Aleph to expand its range of sustainable digital textiles and décor solutions. This will strengthen Durst’s position in water-based and sustainable printing technologies.
Aleph has carved a niche for itself over the last two decades, evolving from a software house and distributor of textile consumables to an independent manufacturer of innovative digital water-based printing machines. As part of the Durst Group, Aleph is helping to strengthen the combined market position, expand the product offering and enhance customer value through its expertise in environmentally friendly applications, high-resolution textile software and pioneering solutions for water-based poster printing.
The digital printing markets have experienced rapid growth in recent years as the propensity for environmentally friendly, customised products increases. In line with this trend, both Durst Group AG, Bressanone/Italy, and Aleph Srl, Lurate Caccivio/Italy, aim to optimally combine high-performance printing systems with environmentally friendly ink systems, supported by comprehensive process expertise and integrated software solutions.
The strategic acquisition aims to capitalise on the synergies between Durst’s global presence and extensive sourcing network and Aleph’s expertise in sustainable digital solutions for textiles and décor. This move fits well with the company’s goal to diversify its offering and meet the evolving needs of its global customer base. During the integration process, both Durst Group and Aleph are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for customers, partners and employees.
