Schreiner Group presented the “Supplier of the Year” award for the 11th time at the end of 2023. “This award recognises suppliers who have excelled in terms of reliability, quality and delivery reliability,” says Roland Schreiner, Managing Partner of Schreiner Group. This year, the coveted award went to Gallus, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
Gallus is a global leader in the development, production and sale of narrow-web web presses, specialising in label and packaging printing. The company also specialises in digital label printing. Several conventional systems have been supplied to Schreiner Group in recent years.
Schreiner Group has been working with Gallus machines since the 1980s. These machines have been used, for example, to produce forgery-proof and tamper-proof PIN covers with opaque scratch-off ink. The Austrian motorway vignette and the multi-layer photo protection film for the German social security card were also among the innovative developments produced on Gallus systems.
Today, Gallus printing presses can be found at all four Schreiner Group sites worldwide. “We successfully produce our innovative high-tech labels and functional parts on these modern systems. I am very pleased about the long-standing and trusting cooperation with this top supplier,” summarises Managing Partner Roland Schreiner. Christoph Thurl, Purchasing Manager at Schreiner Group, is of the same opinion: “Gallus has proven to be a reliable partner, especially for projects in recent financial years.
