On 9 November 2024, the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK Leipzig) invites you to innoPRINT Leipzig 2024. Under the guiding theme ‘Working world of the future’, the symposium will highlight current trends and innovations in printing, packaging and coating technology and offer a platform for dialogue between science and industry.
Trends in the world of work
The industry get-together will open with the lecture ‘XR, AI and teleworking – megatrends in the world of work’. Labour market researcher Dr Thomas Löffler from Chemnitz University of Technology will shed light on how the world of work in the printing industry could develop in the future. Falk Teßmer and Philipp Dietrich from print provider Posterlounge will offer practical insights into current working realities. In the subsequent panel discussion, the speakers from research and practice and a trade union representative will exchange views on change and opportunities in the world of work. The programme will be rounded off by the presentation of research projects by students and graduates of HTWK Leipzig.
Exchange and networking
Lutz Engisch, Professor of Materials at HTWK Leipzig, is organising the symposium under the name ‘innoPRINT Leipzig’. Engisch: ‘The basic idea of innoPRINT Leipzig is to bring the industry together. There were times when competitive thinking and an elbow mentality took centre stage. However, we believe that both science and practice benefit from exchanging ideas and learning from each other – and innoPRINT Leipzig successfully contributes to this.’
innoPRINT Leipzig is a joint event organised by HTWK Leipzig, the Institute for Printing, Processing and Packaging Leipzig (iP³ Leipzig) at HTWK Leipzig, the Central German Printing and Media Association and the Saxon Institute for the Printing Industry (SID). Participation is free of charge. Please register at kathrin.mandler@htwk-leipzig.de
