ACTEGA, a manufacturer of speciality coatings, inks, adhesives and sealants for the printing and packaging industries, has appointed Stuart Hayes as the new Managing Director of ACTEGA North America.
Stuart Hayes has more than 25 years of experience in the speciality chemicals industry and has held various operational, strategic, management and sales positions. Having worked for companies such as BASF and Evonik, including a three-year stint in Germany, he has an international perspective and a deep understanding of multi-functional environments.

As part of the team, I look forward to continuing to build ACTEGA’s position as an industry leader. With the move to the impressive Kings Mountain facility and further investments in our New Jersey plant, we will take a big step forward in 2025. This will allow us to better support our customers.’
ACTEGA is committed to expanding operations, enhancing service offerings and part of this strategy is the construction of a new 238,000 square metre facility in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, scheduled for completion in 2025. The production facility will combine four existing sites and will become the new platform for the production and operation of the Flexible Packaging and Metal Packaging Solutions divisions. Printing ink technology and synergies in the areas of research, development, technical service and quality control will be brought together under one roof.
