Good news for Schreiner Group: Ken Forlenza is the new President of the US site in Blauvelt near New York. With his experience as an engineer, manager and business developer, Forlenza will continue to drive Schreiner Group’s US business forward.
Ken Forlenza is excited to form a high performing team. ‘With our planned expansion into new markets, it is critical to attract the best talent and invest specifically in the development of our employees,’ he explains. His focus is on creating a culture where innovation and collaboration take centre stage.
Forlenza sees great growth potential in the pharmaceutical, automotive and general industry markets, where Schreiner Group’s products have been established for decades. ‘Here you can feel the pride and great commitment of all employees to long-term success,’ he says. His many years of experience in speciality chemicals, particularly in the field of adhesives, are an excellent fit with Schreiner Group’s core competencies. His first weeks at Schreiner Group were characterised by the warm welcome he received from the team. ‘The employees were incredibly helpful,’ he says. ‘I even had the opportunity to print my first label myself on the production machine. I’m going to frame it as a souvenir.’ He wants to develop the team further with coaching and mentoring.
‘We are delighted to have Ken Forlenza as the new President of our US site,’ says Roland Schreiner, Managing Director of Schreiner Group. ‘His extensive experience in various industries and his passion for innovation and collaboration make him the ideal person to drive our growth in the core healthcare and mobility markets.’
Schreiner Group established its production site in Blauvelt in 2008, which initially only produced for Schreiner MediPharm and the pharmaceutical industry. However, Schreiner ProTech then also began manufacturing at the site and supplying the automotive and general industry markets. Today, over 90 employees at the Blauvelt site produce high-tech labels and functional parts for the entire North American market.
