eurolaser GmbH is one of the global market leaders for large-format laser systems for cutting, engraving and marking in non-metal processing. The company has always managed to remain true to itself and not forget its roots.
Global success stories since 1994
September 2024 marks the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of eurolaser. During this time, around 1,500 laser systems have been installed worldwide, numerous success stories have been created and the medium-sized Lüneburg-based company’s customer base now includes well-known companies that produce textile advertising banners, high-tech films for space research, car interiors, furniture, signs, flags and bunting, toys, sunshades, filters, sensor films and much more.
“Our great strength is listening. Our customers recognise themselves in the solutions because they are based on their ideas and requirements. New developments are inspired by our customers’ wishes,” says Kim Dittmer, daughter of founder Matthias Kluczinski and part of the management team, adding: “If we don’t have the right solution in our portfolio, we develop it together. Sharing ideas and listening to each other is extremely important. Our commitment and expertise form the cornerstone of this. However, the driving force behind our development has always been satisfied and successful customers, and this will not change in the future. We continue to grow – together with our customers and their challenges.”
Quality, modularity, durability and flexibility are the basis for success. “It’s very special to me that the machine is still running reliably for our first customer today!” says Matthias Kluczinski, Managing Director and founder of eurolaser. According to eurolaser, quality awareness is deeply rooted in the company and can be found in many details, both in the technology and in day-to-day business. The pursuit of innovation and successful solutions currently drives around 100 employees in Lüneburg to constantly look at things from new angles.
The family business enters the next generation
eurolaser is also a genuine family business. Founder and Managing Director Matthias Kluczinski now works together with his daughter, Kim Dittmer, and his sons Nic and Tommi Lee Kluczinski. “I see us as friends of our customers, we have a very human touch,” says Matthias Kluczinski. “I am delighted that my children have become part of the eurolaser family and are continuing this successful story with me. A history that we look back on with pride and that we still have a lot planned for the future.”
The 30th anniversary will be celebrated with an in-house trade fair, INNOVATION DAYS, on 11 and 12 September 2024. Under the motto “Circle of inspiration”, the plan is to present the latest technical developments as well as a large exhibition of partner companies with an evening event at the anniversary trade fair.
Eurolaser
Eurolaser’s success story began in a garage in 1994 when Matthias Kluczinski and his partners at the time founded eurolaser. They assembled the first production machines based on laser technology in a garage and at the same time looked for customers. Today, the Lüneburg-based company is one of the market leaders for large-format laser systems for cutting, engraving and marking in non-metal processing. These include plastics such as polyester or acrylic, wood and MDF, textiles and composites as well as many other materials.
