KARL MAYER warp preparation has long been a partner to the Turkish textile industry. Production solutions support customers in the competitive environment, which will be presented at the upcoming ITM from 4 to 8 June 2024 in Istanbul (Hall 3, Stand 303A).
‘Turkey is a very important market for us. We want to provide impetus here for our customers who are pushing ahead with their investment projects. We also expect to gain information about development trends in the current difficult business environment through direct dialogue with them,’ explains Dieter Gager, Sales Manager of the Warp Preparation Division at KARL MAYER.
Lower costs and environmental impact
The CASCADE system offers a solution that can significantly reduce steam consumption on sizing machines and dyeing systems. It is based on efficient energy recycling: part of the process steam flow is reused to heat up the final cylinder stages, in which the residual moisture is removed from the yarn at lower pressure and temperature values. This enables steam savings of around 7 %. The machine dashboard provides real-time data on the amount of recycled steam measured by a sensor. The values can be used to calculate the reduction in CO2 equivalents.
Machine availability
With Smart Size Box, a technology has been developed that monitors the condition of wear components, allowing users to benefit from significantly less downtime. KARL MAYER will also be presenting a combined Care X-Tend and Connectivity Package. The product for after-sales service offers easy access to fast remote assistance. Unlike conventional teleservice support, it also enables images and large volumes of data to be exchanged easily and securely and minimises operational interruptions. ‘We are looking forward to talking to customers about our Care X-Tend and Connectivity Package at ITM. This exchange is very important for us to ensure that we fulfil customer needs with our offerings,’ says Beat Schnurrenberger, Managing Director of KARL MAYER Textilmaschinen AG.
Pattern warping and sizing
The MULTI-MATIC 32 Compact and the LINK-MATIC system contribute to the topic of efficiency. The new MULTI-MATIC 32 Compact pattern warping machine offers greater productivity and faster pattern changes than the previous model. The LINK-MATIC system is an automation solution that simplifies batch changes on indigo and finishing machines. According to KARL MAYER, an increase in output of up to 30% is possible.
