The Schreiner Group has expanded its factory in Dorfen, Bavaria, adding 2,700 square metres of floor space. Managing Director Roland Schreiner, Senior Partner and builder Helmut Schreiner, and Dorfen’s Mayor Heinz Grundner joined guests and employees in opening the new building section for future-oriented production.
Within a few years, the number of employees has grown from 25 in 2019 to over 100. In order to meet the growing space requirements for further growth, the extension with around 2,700 additional square metres of floor space was completed in one and a half years. The expansion creates more space for additional printing and finishing capacities, a newly structured rack warehouse, colour laboratories, social areas and optimised logistics zones for incoming and outgoing goods.
‘The Dorfen site is a fine example of systematic growth for us,’ emphasised Managing Director Roland Schreiner. ‘With the new extension and the planned automation steps, we are consciously investing in greater efficiency, process quality and future viability. These steps strengthen not only the Dorfen plant, but the entire company.’
Senior partner and builder Helmut Schreiner emphasised: ‘It gives me great pleasure to see how the Dorfen plant has developed. With the extension, we are sending a clear signal for long-term growth and the future of our family business.’
Dorfen’s mayor Heinz Grundner added: ‘Schreiner Group is sending a strong signal with this investment. The combination of structural expansion and innovative technology shows how attractive Dorfen is as a business location and that planning here is sustainable and long-term.’
